    Thanks for the suggestion. In some cases that works. However, it only works to the extent that 1.) the channel has an app and 2.) the app includes the shows that I wish to record. It allows the app to choose the number of recent shows whereas I would prefer that choice.

    Any update on this topic? I am a recent subscriber to the service. This is one feature that may cause me to switch to another provider for television. I understand that with the streaming service there are recent episodes, but the recordings are a better experience (ability to fast forward through commercials). I also have the same issue with older shows. I would expand on Wilson’s comments and suggest three, five, ten, 20, and all (current format) as an option to record.
