Hi – Thanks for this input. We’ll be testing this and report back about the status.
Robert - I'm concerned about this and am working to help determine fix / schedule to remedy this issue. Thank you for the nudge. - Rob.
Hello- We are currently testing a couple different options that would provide C Spire TV users with a more 'traditional' tv experience including a remote control that has a number pad that would allow for direct channel input (once in the app).
We'll be at CES this year also looking at stand-alone Bluetooth remote controls that could provide number input access on a Amazon Fire TV device, for example.
This is a very high priority here at C Spire.
yes - we have looked at adding additional search fields in other areas of the app. The guide being one of them. This is on our radar as a potential future enhancement.
In the meantime, I invite you to try the new Recently Viewed row which is accessible below the main menu. This row keeps tabs of all the recent channels, shows, recordings, movies etc. And allows you to very quickly jump from channel to channel like a 'previous' or 'last' button on steroids.
Hi, this is part of a larger group of DVR related improvements we’re working hard to bring to a future release just as soon as we can.

Hi Josh – Thanks very much for taking the time to provide your feature suggestion.
At present, you can schedule new recordings up to 14 days in advance via the search interface, and can ‘scroll’ forward in the Guide up to 7 days.
We had not considered some of the situations you present. And if we find that a lot of other C Spire TV customers are needing the ability to set recordings multiple months in the future, we will work hard to implement this feature.
Thanks again for the input and please keep any and all suggestions coming!
I would like to record a show or movie that I know has been on tv before and expect it to be on in the future. If the show does not show up when I look for it in search mode there is no way to set a recording. (For example I tried to set a recording of Now You See Me. It did not show up in the search, so I have no way to set a recording for it. The making of Now You See Me 2 showed up; another example, seasonal shows – how can I set something to record when a new season starts? Spring Baking Championship, Holiday Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, Pumpkin Carving Championship, etc.)
Thanks Cara for your suggestion. We're looking at creating a way to better handle the situation when you have more devices accessing the service than streams tied to your account. I have created a separate issue for you and put it under consideration. - Rob

Tim – thanks for this suggestion. I’ve edited the title and moved it from ‘bug’ to ‘feature request’ to make it a little easier for other customers / users to vote up.
Hi Cara – Thanks very much for your suggestion. We are aware of this need and are working hard to improve what we call the ‘post roll’ experience. So when you’ve finished watching an episode, the system is smart and will know there’s another episode available to play.
Your input will help us prioritize this and include it in a future release!
Search by ACTOR is being developed.
Thanks very much for your suggestion. This suggestion has been made by other folks and we are working internally to determine the best course of action on how to add this features as quickly as possible.
I will be merging this thread with an existing thread requesting Favorite Channels.
UPDATE - After reviewing other recommendations for C SPire TV, we do not have a current thread open about having Favorites. This is on our product roadmap. How quickly we implement will likely rest on how much feedback we get from customers like you on how important this feature is.
