Right now, i can either record everything, or just one episode at a time. I want the ability to just record the latest episode.22 votes
I want an app that let's me watch TV from my android or iOS smartphone or tablet.12 votes
We are currently working very hard to deliver native apps for smartphones and tablets on both Android and iOS platforms.
Right now there is no way to see what you're watching unless you disrupt the stream and go to the guide. The show description, channel, etc needs to be on the same level that displays the guide, shows, manage recording options.5 votesUnder consideration · AdminRob Rubinoff (C Spire TV Product Manager, C Spire Home Services) responded
Tim – thanks for this suggestion. I’ve edited the title and moved it from ‘bug’ to ‘feature request’ to make it a little easier for other customers / users to vote up.
Allow input of channel numbers (in guide or directly) like a traditional remote when using a compatible remote app allowing numeric input

The lack of a remote control on the TV 2.0 is an issue for several reasons. Is there any way a smartphone on the same wireless network could be used as a traditional remote via an app?4 votes
William – thanks for this suggestion. We are already working on Android and iOS versions of the app which will extend the C Spire TV experience to tablets and smartphones.
For Remote Control functionality, each of the hardware manufacturers have smartphone / tablet apps which allow you to control your streaming media player
These apps are available via Google Play store, iTunes, and Amazon app stores.
Right now there is a skill for Alexa but it doesn't work.4 votes
This is a feature we’re currently working on and testing. We hope to deliver support for surround sound in the near future.
It seems to point of individual profiles is so that recommendations can be made based on viewing or recording habits but I would like an option to connect recordings to different profiles.3 votesUnder consideration · AdminRob Rubinoff (C Spire TV Product Manager, C Spire Home Services) responded
Tim – thanks for your input on this.
If you have two TVs and move from one TV to the other, unless you force quit the application, the second TV cannot watch the show because the first TV is consuming the stream license. Need an exit menu item (not quit since that requires you to reenter your password).3 votes
Currently every time I want to go to the 3 channels I watch I have to scroll through all the channels. (I have 3 others in my family that watch other channels). It would be way faster to have favorite channels saved to my profile so I wouldn't have to scroll through channels I am not going to watch.3 votesUnder consideration · AdminRob Rubinoff (C Spire TV Product Manager, C Spire Home Services) responded
Thanks very much for your suggestion. This suggestion has been made by other folks and we are working internally to determine the best course of action on how to add this features as quickly as possible.
I will be merging this thread with an existing thread requesting Favorite Channels.
It would be nice to add the streaming feature without having to return ALL the set top boxes. Being able top mix and match would be ideal and you could charge for it!3 votes
Let current C Spire TV 1.0 customers give the new product a try before having to disconnect my current service and commit to something that is new and unfamiliar.3 votes
I love Tom Cruise movies and i want to be able to search Tom Cruise from the search page and have results for all tom cruise movies i can watch.3 votes
I would like to record a show or movie that I know has been on tv before and expect it to be on in the future. If the show does not show up when I look for it in search mode there is no way to set a recording. (For example I tried to set a recording of Now You See Me. It did not show up in the search, so I have no way to set a recording for it. The making of Now You See Me 2 showed up; another example, seasonal shows – how can I set something to record when a new season starts? Spring Baking Championship, Holiday Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, Pumpkin Carving Championship, etc.)

We are investigating how best to enable you to easily be able to find and add future recordings. We’re looking at creating a ‘Show Other Times’ button on an episode or movie detail page. This would provide a list of future times when the same program will air, info on what channel / network, etc. Then you would be able to select which future playing of the show you want to record.
It seems like the infrastructure is there to be able to watch some shows on demand rather than having to record everything all the time. I would like to be able to search a show and if available watch them on demand.2 votesNeeds more feedback · AdminRob Rubinoff (C Spire TV Product Manager, C Spire Home Services) responded
Hi Tim – thanks again for all this awesome feedback.
C Spire TV does include a wealth of ‘On Demand’ content. The networks send us thousands of hours of on demand video content each month.
On Demand episodes are available from the ‘Series’ pages along with upcoming shows, recorded shows, and shows that are available to you via the Replay TV feature. Basically if you navigate to a series page like Big Brother, you will see episodes organized by season no matter where they come from.
Thanks for your suggestion! Appreciate your input on this.
After reviewing most TV networks over the years I believe this is one of the only ones that does not allow Nick Junior as a basic package channel. Kids channels should be in the basic package. It is one of the benefits of having cable just to turn on the TV and have shows available for children vs. streaming.1 vote
Thanks for your suggestion Alan!
We’re consistently working to strike a balance between the channels we offer in our various packages, and the impact on the cost of those packages. I believe our current Standard package offering provides a lot of value for subscribers seeking kids-centric programming.
Our Standard package currently offers dedicated child-friendly programming from the following networks:
Discovery Family Channel
And I’d encourage you to take advantage of your access to network apps which you can download to your tablet, smartphone or streaming media player for hundreds of hours of awesome child-friendly content.
QUESTION – what would your appetite be if we went away with the concept of multiple packages, and instead offered just one package at a higher price point which included all the channels currently offered in both our Standard and Expanded packages?
On the Apple TV app, the "recently watched" seems to work fine; but on the Fire Stick, the most recent channel is rarely among those listed. It's particularly annoying when trying to flip between football games, when we have really missed the ability to just punch in numbers or hit the "back" button.1 vote
Thanks for this input. I’ll update this thread when we confirm the issue and work to get a fix in place.
when I watch TV on Saturdays I see lots of games called 'NCAA Football' but I have to click into the guide before I can see which teams are playing. Please don't make me click into the guide to the preview to tell which teams are playing.1 vote
We are working on a way to show you what teams are playing w/out having to click into the guide.
