Add ability to record only NEW episodes
Right now, i can either record everything, or just one episode at a time. I want the ability to just record the latest episode.

Make Current Program Info More Easily Accessible
Right now there is no way to see what you're watching unless you disrupt the stream and go to the guide. The show description, channel, etc needs to be on the same level that displays the guide, shows, manage recording options.

Tim – thanks for this suggestion. I’ve edited the title and moved it from ‘bug’ to ‘feature request’ to make it a little easier for other customers / users to vote up.

The Option to Save or Delete a recorded show after viewing
I would like the option after I have viewed a show I recorded, a window pops up giving you the option to either save/retain the show or to delete the show.
24 votesHi, this is part of a larger group of DVR related improvements we’re working hard to bring to a future release just as soon as we can.

Favorite Channels List - By Profile
Currently every time I want to go to the 3 channels I watch I have to scroll through all the channels. (I have 3 others in my family that watch other channels). It would be way faster to have favorite channels saved to my profile so I wouldn't have to scroll through channels I am not going to watch.

Thanks very much for your suggestion. This suggestion has been made by other folks and we are working internally to determine the best course of action on how to add this features as quickly as possible.
I will be merging this thread with an existing thread requesting Favorite Channels.

Make Watching Next Episode in DVR Easier
If you have multiple recordings of the same TV series, when you're done watching one episode, you have to go back through the process to watch the next episode. It'd be great if a button popped up on the bottom to watch next show like Netflix does.
19 votesHi Cara – Thanks very much for your suggestion. We are aware of this need and are working hard to improve what we call the ‘post roll’ experience. So when you’ve finished watching an episode, the system is smart and will know there’s another episode available to play.
Your input will help us prioritize this and include it in a future release!

Add Football Teams to Guide
when I watch TV on Saturdays I see lots of games called 'NCAA Football' but I have to click into the guide before I can see which teams are playing. Please don't make me click into the guide to the preview to tell which teams are playing.
19 votesWe are working on a way to show you what teams are playing w/out having to click into the guide.

Make it easier to set future recordings
I would like to record a show or movie that I know has been on tv before and expect it to be on in the future. If the show does not show up when I look for it in search mode there is no way to set a recording. (For example I tried to set a recording of Now You See Me. It did not show up in the search, so I have no way to set a recording for it. The making of Now You See Me 2 showed up; another example, seasonal shows – how can I set…

We are investigating how best to enable you to easily be able to find and add future recordings. We’re looking at creating a ‘Show Other Times’ button on an episode or movie detail page. This would provide a list of future times when the same program will air, info on what channel / network, etc. Then you would be able to select which future playing of the show you want to record.

Handle Not Enough Streams in a better way
Right now if I have 2 streams and two other family members are watching, it just tells me that I don't have enough streams. I would like the option to 'bump' my wife off her tablet so I can watch TV.

Allow scheduling of programs not currently airing
The search feature for recording programs seems to only find shows that are currently on air. Networks preview programs like Christmas specials that I cannot schedule to be recorded because they are several weeks away and aren't found in a search. Another example are some summer shows that can't be scheduled now. It would be nice to be able to find a show that is not currently airing and tell the DVR to record it when it comes on. My previous Uverse service was able to do this.

Hi Josh – Thanks very much for taking the time to provide your feature suggestion.
At present, you can schedule new recordings up to 14 days in advance via the search interface, and can ‘scroll’ forward in the Guide up to 7 days.We had not considered some of the situations you present. And if we find that a lot of other C Spire TV customers are needing the ability to set recordings multiple months in the future, we will work hard to implement this feature.
Thanks again for the input and please keep any and all suggestions coming!

Hi – The 1.2 server and app updates have brought surround sound to the Apple TV platform. We are continuing to work on Amazon Fire TV and Android TV platforms.

To change category on guide
To change the category you would like to filter, you have to scroll all the way to the top to change it, it would be nice if there was a button or something
9 votesWe’re working to determine the best way to provide easier access to the guide filters w/out having to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page.

Let me try C Spire TV before upgrading
Let current C Spire TV 1.0 customers give the new product a try before having to disconnect my current service and commit to something that is new and unfamiliar.

Connect recordings to profile
It seems to point of individual profiles is so that recommendations can be made based on viewing or recording habits but I would like an option to connect recordings to different profiles.

Adding Cspire streaming TV features in addition to set top boxes
It would be nice to add the streaming feature without having to return ALL the set top boxes. Being able top mix and match would be ideal and you could charge for it!

On guide make it where it shows the entire title of the tv show
When you are on guide it does not show you the entire title name, the title could go somewhere else on the screen or make the font smaller
6 votesHi – we are working to show both the Series title and Episode title where possible within the guide.

Picture-in-Picture
Since C Spire TV is a software-based product, surely a PIP feature should be possible. Right?
6 votesUnder consideration ·AdminRob Rubinoff (C Spire TV Product Manager, C Spire Home Services) responded
Hi Allison – Thanks for submitting this suggestion. You’re the first to bring this up. What circumstances do you anticipate wanting to have PIP functionality? Trying to better understand the types of content that would benefit from this feature.
Thanks!
Rob.
